Project Title: Jazz Festival Poster Design

Description: The exam project for the Illustrator course, part of the Design Fundamentals program at SoftUni Creative, was to create a poster for the A to Jazz Festival.

Brief: Tehnical requirements - Size: The poster should have dimensions of W: 50 cm and H: 70cm. Resolution: The resolution of the poster should be set to 300ppi. Color Mode: Should be set to CMYK color mode.

The mendatory elements that had to be included in the poster are - logo, when: date and time of the event, where: name of the park, which are the groups included in the festival. From a visual point of view, we had to consider the composition and the main elements in it, typography and fonts used, design and color combinations, which were characteristic of the jazz poster.

Creative Process: The idea of this poster was to attract more young people to this genre. The colors used are yellow, black and white, which are common in jazz posters and envoke a cool and calm atmosphere - a common feeling associated with jazz music. The two hands depicted on the poster, playing the piano, hint at the instruments that will sound at the event.
